The press release supports the U.S. President's Task Force on 21st Century Policing Citing the Urgent Need for Transformational Culture Change in Policing through the Recruitment, Hiring, Retention, and Promotion of Women and Minorities

The press release is attached below.  This release is a powerful  introduction into the change in police culture being addressed in the United States by the President's Task Force. It is a call to action to achieve a culture change for local, state and federal law enforcement. To accomplish the goal, one of the recognized paths is to increase the number of women and minorities in every law enforcement agency -- at every organizational level -- throughout the United States.
