Gender-Responsive Policing Summit - Gender Diversity in US Policing

Progressing Words into Action

30th and 31st March 2023, Gallup Riverside Campus, Omaha, Nebraska, USA.

Objective

Over two days, national and international speakers will share good practices in the recruitment, retention, and progression of women in policing together with women’s health, wellness, and protection issues with the aim of improving not just the recruitment of more women into US policing but improving policies procedures and the overall culture of policing.

The summit is intended to provide US police chiefs/executives and command staff with practical tools to deliver an improved culture of policing within their agencies. Through facilitated workshops they will be supported in finding solutions to the challenges they face in recruiting and retaining women officers. By attending this event, they will gain access to good practices, knowledge and experience shared by both national and international speakers aimed at the recruitment, retention, and progression of women in policing and advancing wellness, and protection issues.
