Message from the IAWP Board of Directors:
For past, present or current Conference Directors and Committee members: As part of the ongoing project by the IAWP Board to review best practices and issues with planning and hosting an Annual IAWP Training Conference, we will be hosting a Round Table Meeting on Friday, September 7, 2012. The purpose for this meeting is to discuss best practices, common concerns, good ideas and general issues that arise during the planning and operation of the annual conference. Any past, present, or current IAWP Annual Conference Directors, Committee members, and Conference Directors from associated events (for example NAWLE or affiliate conference organizers) are invited to attend. In order to plan the discussion, anyone interested in attending is asked to contact Sandra Martin (Region 12 Coordinator and IAWP Conference Project Manager) via email at sandramartin@winnipeg.ca.  Interested participants will be advised via email of the exact time and location for this meeting. (It will take place in the early evening after the Board of Directors meeting and likely in the same room.) See you all soon in beautiful St. John’s, Newfoundland!
