GREETINGS to our Members, Visitors and Supporters Worldwide!

WELCOME

The International Association of Women Police was formed in 1915 and incorporated in 1926.  From humble beginnings, we have grown to include members from 55 countries with Coordinators in 18 IAWP Regions.  In addition, we are proud to count women policing organizations from around the world as IAWP affiliates.  Our principal undertaking is an Annual Training Conference held in a different geographic location each year and kicked off by a Parade of Nations.  This major event features international presenters in law enforcement and is considered to be a premiere training opportunity for women police officers around the globe.   The IAWP WomenPolice magazine, published quarterly for members, is available as a stand-alone subscription for those who want to keep abreast of women in the criminal justice professions internationally.

Joining the IAWP is easy.  Just choose your membership level and conveniently pay with a credit card.  Explore IAWP and the global world of policing.  Increase your personal and professional network; receive direct notices of job opportunities; keep abreast of the latest police news through IAWP Twitter and News Feeds; and, learn about your local IAWP Region through IAWP Blogs.

All are welcome here.

THANK YOU!

We were especially pleased to have The Honorable United Nations Deputy Secretary-General Dr. Asha-Rose Migiro of Tanzania speak to the IAWP delegates at the Annual Conference.  Read more about this international leader here.  In addition, the presentation by the United Nations on their world-wide mission, combined with the United Nations (UN) and the IAWP providing an on-site opportunity for IAWP delegates to be assessed for participation in UN Police Peacekeeping deployment operations, was a first.

Look toward IAWP2012 September 7-14, 2012, in St. John's, NL. This is the first time the IAWP Annual Training Conference will be held in Atlantic Canada.

SEE what others have to say!
